2007 Fort Worth Weaver’s Guild Show Criteria

In accordance with Guild policy the following criteria will be in place for the 2007 show at the Community Arts Center.
 
Each member of the Guild is encouraged to submit two items to hang for the show.
 
Items must have a handwoven element and have been completed since the last Guild show, October 2005.
 
Guild members who weave on a limited basis are encouraged to submit items of their choosing that have not been previously shown at a FWWG show.
 
Show entries may be offered for sale; a 20% commission on items sold will be paid to the CAC.  All entries sold must hang for the entire length of the show.
 
A description of all items to be shown must be provided to Lynn Smetko by June 30, 2007, in order to be included in the show brochure.  Select digital photographs may be included, if you have them available you may also provide them to Lynn.
 
Items to be hung in the show will be collected by Cynthia Bohlenblust by August 1, 2007.  Items may be submitter earlier to Margaret Humphries, Allison Gray or Nancy Berger.
 
The 2007 Fort Worth Weavers Guild show will have a one-day sale Saturday September 8th in conjunction with the Gallery Night reception.  20% of sale prices will be retained by the Guild.  All items to be sold must be tagged following Guild guidelines.  An inventory of items must be provided.
 
Items to be raffled to the general public will be acquired from guild members.  The items will be purchased at 50% retail price with the balance to be repaid proportionally, if possible.
